These terms govern your access to and use of Shaku AI. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you are accepting on behalf of an organization, you confirm you have authority to bind that organization.

The service

Shaku AI discovers companies and contacts that match the ideal customer profile you define, scores them against buying signals such as funding events, hiring activity, and technology adoption, and drafts outreach for your review. You decide what is sent and when.

Your account

You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure.
You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account and under accounts you invite to your organization.
You must be at least 18 years old and using the service for business purposes.
Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Send unlawful, deceptive, harassing, or unsolicited bulk messages that violate anti spam law.
Use the service to collect data about individuals for purposes unrelated to legitimate business outreach.
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the platform, other customers data, or the underlying infrastructure.
Reverse engineer, resell, or white label the service without a written agreement.
Circumvent rate limits, usage caps, or billing controls.

We may suspend accounts that we reasonably believe are violating these rules.

Your responsibilities when sending email

You are the sender of every message dispatched through your connected account, and you are responsible for complying with the law that applies to it, including CAN SPAM, CASL, and the GDPR where relevant. At a minimum this means messages must be truthful about who is sending, must relate to a genuine business purpose, and must honour opt out requests promptly. Shaku AI provides the tooling. The obligation to use it lawfully rests with you.

Connected accounts

When you connect Google, Microsoft, or LinkedIn, you authorize Shaku AI to act within the specific permissions granted, as described in our Privacy Policy. You may revoke access at any time. Your use of those platforms remains subject to their own terms.

Content generated by artificial intelligence

Research summaries, lead scores, and outreach drafts are produced by language models and can contain errors. They are suggestions, not verified fact, and you should review anything before acting on it or sending it. You retain ownership of the content you create, and you are responsible for what you choose to send.

Your data

You retain all rights to the data you provide and the content you generate. You grant us a limited licence to process it solely to operate the service for you. We claim no ownership over your customer lists, campaigns, or messages.

Availability

We work to keep the service available and reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may modify or discontinue features, and where a change is material we will give reasonable notice.

Disclaimers

The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non infringement. We do not warrant that lead data is accurate or complete, nor that use of the service will produce any particular commercial result.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Shaku AI is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, nor for lost profits, revenue, or data. Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold Shaku AI harmless from claims arising out of your use of the service, your content, or your violation of these terms or of applicable law.

Termination

You may stop using the service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these terms or if required by law. On termination, your data is handled according to the retention section of our Privacy Policy.

Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms. Material changes will be communicated in the application or by email before taking effect. Continuing to use the service after that point means you accept the revised terms.
